Alexander Gordon "Sandy" Martin (born 2 May 1957) was elected at the 2017 general election as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ipswich succeeding the Conservative Ben Gummer.

A former Labour group leader on Suffolk County Council, Martin is a member of the LGBT Labour campaign. Martin describes himself politically as a democratic socialist and an environmentalist.
