Marsha Chantol de Cordova (born 23 January 1976) was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Battersea at the 2017 general election. She defeated the Conservative Minister Jane Ellison. In October 2017, she was appointed Shadow Minister for Disabled People, following the resignation of Marie Rimmer.
Political activity
De Cordova was a Labour Party councillor for the Larkhall ward on Lambeth Council. De Cordova was elected in 2014 with 1,809 votes and 19% of the overall vote, finishing ahead of the two other Labour candidates. After becoming an MP, she did not seek re-election in the 2018 local elections
