Anneliese Jane Dodds was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Oxford East in 2017. She was formerly a Member of the European Parliament for the South East England region from 2014–2017.
Political career
Dodds unsuccessfully campaigned for the constituency of Billericay at the 2005 general election and the constituency of Reading East at the 2010 general election. She was also unsuccessful in the 2006 Oxford City council elections
Dodds was elected as a Member of the European Parliament for the South East England region in 2014.In the European Parliament, Dodds sat on the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
As of May 2017, she is a Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at Aston University, Birmingham.
